Being a mommy to three children I’ve used my fair share of diaper bags.  I’ve used big ones, and I’ve used small ones and yet somehow, someway the diaper bag is always a mess and totally unorganized.  I recently learned about Mrs. Smith’s Diaper Bags and was given the opportunity to try one out.

The Mrs. Smith’s Diaper Bag by Whoda Thought was designed by mommy of two, Rachael Palmateer Smith.  One day she was struggling to manage the demands of her 2-year old son and 6-month old daughter at the airport when the idea of the ultimate baby bag came to her.  As they were boarding the plane, her son wanted his toy train and her daughter began crying for her bottle.  While digging through their traditional diaper bag, Rachael accidentally spilled her daughter’s bottle all over the contents of the diaper bag.  In desperation to find her son’s toy train, she dumped out the bag and emptied everything out onto the chair.  Frazzled and frustrated, she began sketching in her mind the ideal diaper bag just the way every parent would want it.  And that is how Mrs. Smith’s Diaper Bags came to be! mrs smith bronze diaper bag

There are a few colors and patterns to choose from and I chose this awesome bronze bag! I figured since my two youngest children were boys I needed to get something that was more unisex.  When I first received my bag I spent a few minutes just figuring out all the compartments, zippers, etc.  The most unique feature of Mrs. Smith’s Diapers Bags is the pull-out drawer on the bottom of the diaper bag.  The pull-out drawer is accessible from the front with a zippered compartment.

There is so much room and space to keep everything you need in the bag orderly and organized.  The top section is big enough to hold clothing, bottles, sippy cups, pacifiers, band-aids, diapers, wipes and diaper cream.  The pull-out drawer can hold toys, snacks, baby food, tissues, etc.  There are also plenty of pockets for cell phones, bottle of water, etc.  Rachael really thought of everything when designing Mrs. Smith’s Diaper Bag.

She has also included a washable changing pad that is located in the diaper bags top flap.  It is larger than your normal changing pad and is easily stored in the bag.

Since receiving my Mrs. Smith’s Diaper Bag I have gone from carrying a diaper bag and purse to just carrying the diaper bag.  I have enough room for everything that I need and it has helped with the amount of things that I have to carry and keep up with.  And if that wasn’t enough, you can convert the messenger strap into the backpack function in a snap.
