Before I had kids, I never really carried a purse. My few essentials (lip gloss, ID and a bit of cash) all fit easily into my pocket and toting around a purse just seemed like way too much hassle for me. So when I had kids, I was shocked by how many items I needed to have with me at all times to ensure my boys’ comfort. Diapers, bottles, snacks, toys…the list was endless. I found a few bags that worked fairly well for toting around the many accessories of motherhood but no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn’t keep the bag organized. When I needed a sippy cup for Benjamin or a Hot Wheels car to keep Zackary amused, I invariably ended up rooting around in the bottom of the bag searching for the item I needed.

Then, the Mrs. Smith’s Diaper Bag came along. This incredible bag isn’t just designed to hold everything, it’s designed to hold it and keep it organized! I had heard great things about these stylish and useful bags in the past and I was thrilled when I was given a chance to test one out for myself.

I received the incredible Elite diaper bag in Pitch to review. When the bag arrived, the first thing I noticed was the fashionable faux croc material of the sleek black bag, which could easily be wiped clean with a damp cloth as needed. I also loved the long strap the bag featured; I have a big pet peeve of diaper bags with short straps that have to be carried by hand instead of thrown over the shoulder. Diaper bags are heavy; I don’t want to have to tote one around in my hand all the time! I was even more delighted when I learned that the strap could quickly and easily be taken apart and clipped onto the back of the bag to convert it into a backpack! My favourite two styles of bags are backpacks and messenger bags and the Elite Mrs. Smith’s Diaper Bag had provided both with one convertible design!

There were pockets and pouches galore in this diaper bag and I couldn’t wait to start filling them up. Convenient outer pockets provided padded protection for my sunglasses and cell phone. A wider side pocket provided the perfect place for my makeup essentials like a touch-up mirror, perfume and lip balm. Finally, a large, slim back pocket worked great for stashing a picture book to keep the boys entertained.

The inside of the bag was just as easy to organize. With six inner pockets along the interior of the bag, there was a place for absolutely everything! I used the small zippered pocket to hold my change and emergency cash. Insulated pouches I filled with sippy cups and bottles. Diapers, wipes, toys and other kid essentials fit easily into the large roomy main compartment. But the most ingenious aspect of the Mrs. Smith Diaper Bag was still to come!

How often does a parent try to pack a refreshing snack for their child on a hot summer day only to have that snack turn to mush in an overstuffed diaper bag? Mrs. Smith’s is the only patented diaper bag with a pull out drawer making it the most unique bag I’ve ever reviewed….also making it one of the most functional as well. Whoda Thought that you could put so much in a bag and keep it so incredibly organized. You can kiss those days of digging goodbye!

I have read quite a few reviews on this “diaper” bag and as you know I love to take care of my readers since many of you have small children or are expecting. I no longer use baby items since my boys are older but can tell the practical needs one provides, or doesn’t.
This bag has so much space and so many spots to keep things well organized. I always hate the struggle of a new baby and all the things required for their special needs. This bag has plenty of room to fit every stage of your children life & needs!

In all the reviews I’ve read everyone shows you how they organize it for babies or small kids. I’ve read some great reviews on this bag that you can check out on the Mrs. Smiths Blog. I noticed going through them no one really shows the bag without stuff in it so I wanted to show you myself.

This bag makes so much use out of every area. What I love about this bag is that I can still use it! This is the PERFECT park bag! I can hold my keys, water bottle, phone, etc on the outside so it’s always quickly available without digging around…although there is no digging in this bag anywhere! The insides of the littlepockets are super soft making them a safe spot to store sunglasses or a touch screen phone or iPod. The back of the bag also has a pocket perfect to hold a book or some (full size) magazines! Perfect for when I sit and wait while the boys run around.

The pull out drawer is perfect for storing lunch! The large square is the perfect size for bringing sandwiches with us. Three to be exact! I can then put snacks and fruit into the side spots or fit two juice boxes perfectly in each. Best part- they don’t get squished or crushed!

The top is great for extra drinks. Once again since there are three of us, I love that there are three drink slots. I then have room for bug spray, sun lotion, first aid essentials and more. The little zippered pocket is perfect for my license and some spending money.

It comes with a changing pad as well that folds up and stores nicely in the inside top.
I love this because it makes the perfect table cloth as well! It’s big enough to change a baby on and big enough for my boys to both put their lunch on so they’re not eating on a dirty surface.
Since the pad is washable I don’t have to worry about them getting it dirty either.

Favorite feature!
Spending the day at the park or zoo is so much easier when you have both your hands! Since this bag can be easily converted into a backpack I can bring everything I need with me and not worry about juggling things. I don’t have to worry about my arms getting heavy and can enjoy the day! With the outside pockets I can easily get to what I need.

The only thing I wish they had was more pattern/color choices. I feel that most of the choices are very girly and feminine. I’d love to see some boys prints and colors. I went with the black since it was the only gender neutraltone but if I had a girl I love their pink polka dot from their Tempo Collection.

While many moms have good friends, all of us know that our BEST friend is an amazing diaper bag. Especially that first year! Finding the perfect diaper bag can take a lot of work. When we are pregnant, especially with our first. We look for the cute bag. The diaper bag that doesn’t look like a diaper bag. Whether it be the print, or the brand, it can be really hard to find a great non mommy style bag. Not everyone loves Disney characters all over the bag!

The first bag I ever bought, I bought because it looked like a big cute purse. WHAT was I thinking. This bag had literally 3 pockets. One big one, and two small one. Whether you are nursing or bottle feeding we all know 3 is not nearly enough.

The second bag I had, was a giant bag that had 5 pockets. A little better, but still. Three of the pockets where massive. Lap top massive. The 2 side pockets are cell phone sizes. AGAIN. WHAT was I thinking. This bag turned out to be a great school bag but not a good diaper bag. More often than not, I was forced to dump everything out, and search for that one binky, or that one nursing pad. AHHH The memories.

The last bag I HAD was literally the free one from the hospital. I had given up on paying until I found the perfect bag. This bag was okay, I mean it had more pockets, icepacks for breastmilk, and even a cell phone pocket. It did the job. However I longed for that perfect bag.

Then one day. Out of nowhere. I come across a site. This site had the most beautiful bag I had ever come across. Literally. No exaggeration. The features were perfect. I had to have it.

The Mrs. Smith Bag has literally thought of everything.

First of all, the most amazing feature has to be the pull out drawer. As you can see the bottom half of the big, has a zipper in the front. This is where the drawer pulls out. The drawer is a complete pull out drawer. Meaning if you don’t want the drawer compartment in there and want to use the space for something else. It is totally up to you. The actual drawer is divided down the middle, one side is a full ½, the other is split again making it ¼ compartments. This drawer is a great snack drawer. In the big half I can fit one formula container, baby spoons, binkies, and 3 baby food jars. In one of the quarter compartments I fit 3 Grammy Sammy’s (graham cracker sized), 2 packs of 2 juice boxes, and 2 Mum Mums. In the other quarter I can easily fit a baggie of puffs, fiddlesticks, and colgate mini toothbrushes. That is a lot of baby food.

The Top half of the bag is a storage compartment. Although it is not deep (because of the drawer) it is much better this way. I think a diaper bag should be shorter and wider, so you can see everything when you look in. The inside is lined with insulated pockets. 3 Of them! You can easily store, baby bottles, water bottles, sippy cups, or just use them as pockets for binkies, makeup, and more.

The top container also has a wide are with velcro closure that you can easily store in diapers and wipes. Although I use cloth, I love using biodegradable diapers to travel. I can easily carry 2 shells,3 bio inserts, 2 cloth inserts and a pack of wipes. The remainder of this space, I just store a change of clothes, burp clothes, a blanket, and bibs.

The lid of the diaper bag has a small area to slide in the changing pad.

I also love that this bag has an entire section dedicated to Mommy’s. There is a water bottle holder, a sunglass holder, a cell phone holder, and another pocket for those miscellaneous items of yours.

Not only is this bag fully functional but it comes in a wide variety of patterns. I bought the zebra bag! Its feisty and rocker like me! If you like girly prints, there is a cute flower print. If you want your bag to have more of a chic look go for the high fashion black and gold prints.

I was so excited for the opportunity to review Mrs. Smith Diaper Bag! As a mother of 3 little ones, I go through A LOT of diaper bags! With each little bundle of joy, comes an overwhelming amount of stuff to go along with them! I seem to outgrow bags with each child. I have finally found the bag that will grow with my yearly addition of children! This bag holds it all! No more dumping the entire bag out to find my keys, the much loved toy, or wipes!

I received the Pink Camo print diaper bag, and immediately fell in love with the pattern! I am not a character babyish diaper bag girl, so this stylish bag fit my style very well!

Since I usually pack for a 2 week departure, I was so amazed that everything fit and the top still closed! Here is everything that was in the top of the bag, minus the sippy cups! The top has 3 insulated cup/bottle holders, a zippered pouch, and a velcroed compartment! The top is adjustable as well, so no overflow!

The most unique feature of this bag is clearly the pull out bottom drawer! It is perfect for my cloth diapers and accessories! It has 3 different sections which can hold anything your heart desires! I choose to load up with my cloth wipes, snappis/pins, diapers and covers!

Mrs.Smith Bags have not forgotten anything! There is a pocket on each side(perfect for keys, phone, or mini wallet), a bottle holder( or hand sani wipes for me) on each side, and a key hook! I greatly appreciate the HUGE washable roll up diaper changing pad! The nerotic mommy in me, loves that her hands will not touch anything near her. I loved it but Lil clearly did not! This is her new reaction to being put down!

This awesome bag can me used a messenger bag or backpack style. The backpack style did not work for me, as I found that it slid and was hard to take off. I typically wear my baby on my back, so this was not an issue for me. The other 1000 reasons I loved it far outweighed this problem!

When I received my Mrs. Smith diaper bag ( in copper), I was so excited! I love it! Talk about amazing. The Ultimate Diaper Bag from Mrs Smith’s (+ Giveaway)

Huge diaper bag, filled to the brim with your baby’s essentials. You have everything in there but precisely where each item is located, you have no clue. It’s a mini jungle in that bag. What’s your biggest nightmare?….Baby cries and you just can’t find what you are looking for in that huge mess in the bag…it’s in there, yes but WHERE???

I know you’ve been there and Rachel Smith was there on more than just one occasion in her life, till she decided enough was enough, Mommies needed a spacious diaper bag that was organized and easy to find things in, thus was born Mrs. Smith’s Diaper Bags!

I’ve always carried a ‘mini baby home’ in my bags when Bunny girl was a baby and now with Bunny Boo scheduled for an arrival in May, I know I’ll be doing the same all over again.

I love that the Mrs. Smith’s Diaper Bag I was sent has all the compartments, pockets and sections I’d need to stash away all I’d need for Bunny Boo….in an ORGANIZED, EASY TO FIND manner! (Just had to put that in caps as it’s really that important!!)

Bunny Boo’s bottle, a teddy bear, wipe cloths and a feeding bottle, can fit into these mini compartments. I can throw in my car keys and wallet into the zipped in pocket and perhaps have an extra change of clothes, an extra blanket and diapers placed at the bottom.

The large zipped in pocket at the back can hold the pack of wipes and maybe some paper towels.

Here’s one of my favorite features of the bag, a mini changing mat to place over those icky changing tables in the stores.

There’s even a compartment to hold maybe a magazine or two for when you take baby in for shots to the Doctor and have to wait for more than an hour to be called in. You can also use this to store clothes or a light cover sheet.

The bag even has a little pocket to hold your mobile phone and a bottle of water to hydrate yourself while outdoors.

If you have an older offspring, there’s enough space in this bag to store a few snacks, a juice box, an activity book or two and a toy(s) as well.

The ‘carry over the shoulder’ strap can be used to transform the bag into a backpack as well.

I’m so in love with this bag and am slowly accustoming myself to get used to the bright pink military design. The practicality of this bag has me sold! Now honestly….can you find a diaper bag with more features than this one??

I used to get so frustrated because I would dig and dig in my diaper bag for something (i.e. the much-needed pacifier for my screaming child) and would eventually find it after a struggle or I would just give up! No More! I was sick and tired of my deep, almost pocket-less bag. In my search for something better, I found Mrs. Smith’s Diaper Bag. My solution to clutter.

This is a fantastically smart bag made for real moms!There are tons of compartments, including the fabulous drawer at the bottom with 3 compartments. The top portion is half the height of the bag, allowing for easy removal of items I use a lot. No more digging around in the bottom of my bag because I can see everything when I open the top. The drawer in to bottom is solid, so top side items don’t crush whatever I choose to keep down below. Yet, the diaper bag is lightweight, even with the protective drawer casing.There are a total of 5 bottle/cup holders with 3 insulated bottle holders in the top, a mesh pouch on the outside, and another pouch with elastic on the outside. I would like there an outside pouch to be insulated also, since my baby takes tall bottles. There is a padded sunglasses holder, a cell phone holder, and a “documents pouch” which I use for my wallet.Another really cool thing about Mrs. Smith’s diaper bag is that it converts to a backpack! Really great for outings to the park, hikes, airport, etc. I also like that aspect because I have a bad back and it is healthier for people to carry weight centered than off to one side. I learned in nursing school that kids carrying backpacks on one shoulder cause scoliosis cases to rise.Mrs. Smiths diaper bag also has a pouch in the top flap to hold thewashable changing pad. Stored away from other things when it is dirty, but you can really clean it well.
The Mrs. Smith’s diaper bag is a great quality bag. I really like the soft canvas material on mine and the cute pattern. There are lots of cute styles to choose from. It is sewn together to be very sturdy. One issue I did have was with the zippers sticking. They may loosen up after more use. I have to say the pictures online do not do it justice. It is far more attractive and not as bulky as the pictures make it out to be.Buy It!

With a 4, 2 year old and 10 month baby a great diaper bag is essential. For 4 years now I haven’t found that perfect diaper bag until now! Mrs. Smiths Diaper bag has met all my diaper bag needs and then some! What I really like about this diaper bag is how it converts very quickly into a backpack diaper bag! So many times I need to be hands free with my little ones and wearing it as a backpack has enabled me to do so! Although it can be a little cumbersome taking it off your back because the strap slides a bit but overall I think this bag works really well. I highly recommend it for every mom with little ones!
